One of the nicest new Bedotias that Christophe Mailliet brought back from the USA. This is a displaying male, about 10 cm TL. They are found in the Namorona drainage, SE Madagascar.

Large male of about 11cm. There are several colour forms of that species, this one is from the area of Menantany, on the East Coast of Madagascar.

One of the nicest fish around, IMO. This is a male of about 8cm TL. They are from the Lokoho drainage, NE Madagascar.

Another beautiful fish, very similar to M. praecox in colouration: metallic blue with red fins. From the Ankavia and possibly also Ankavanana drainages in NE Madagascar.

A quite unusual Bedotia in built and colour. Unfortunately, I lost the only male before I could breed them. The males are sometimes nearly black overall, with orange fin margins.
